I got to burp her today.
They're going to keep the baby for a couple more days until all the blood test results come back even though whatever it was has passed. Maya is taking that kind of hard.

We're all settled into the nursery room. Mom and dad are taking a little nap for the moment. We are planning to start receiving visitors at around 7 PM. Call ahead though.

Michaela Hope was born at 9:45 AM on Saturday, August 11th. Mom is a bit groggy -- otherwise fine. Dad and baby are fine too.
I think we should be able to receive visitors this evening. feel free to call my in the afternoon to see.

Everything is okay. Maya has an epidural in place, and at the moment she is napping peacefully. She's a real trooper.
we think the baby will be born sometime around 6:30
The bottom line shows that her contractions are 5 mins apart

We're not going to the hospital yet as her contractions are still far apart.. But
