These are various photographs I took hiking around Turner Falls park. The black and white photos are in infrared. I took them in color (with an infrared filter) and reduced the red channel (because the filter is imperfect and lets some red visible light through.) Then, I tweaked the contrast and brightness a little. The last photo is an unmodified infrared capture. The water is red because it give off almost no heat (infrared) and some visible light gets through the filter.

This series of images is infrared black and white, visible light b&w, and visible color.
