This is a Trinty Valley Foundry. As far as I know the Trinity Valley Foundry is no longer funtioning. It seems the trend these days, is that many of the local foundries are being bought up by large conglomerates in an attempt to stay compeditive with asian and Indian foundries. It's hard to believe that something as heavy as a manhole cover could actually be cast in India or China and shipped to the US cheaper than it could be made here.

I think this says something about how we pay our labour here in the states.
