Texas Centerboard.org has their list of Texas races for centerboards online and it's growing! Want to race your centerboard sailboat? This organization lists regattas you can race in even if you have a boat that doesn't have an established class!
Hill Country Regatta for catamarans is coming up soon on April 26th and 27th, and we can't wait to see you. Also, we have moved the location of the regatta to the grounds of Cedar Lodge Resort which is only a couple of miles from last year's regatta location. Cedar Lodge has joined up with Fleet 64 to put on the best regatta ever. We will have bathroom and shower facilities, cooking facilities, indoor area, large dock area, cabins on site, and we are just about across the street from Joe's so you can even walk over for breakfast. We will also have our regular Saturday evening musical entertainment of Austin music with The Dimestore Poets.
As an added bonus, Tammy McPeters from Cedar Lodge has joined with us to raise even more money for Big Brothers / Big Sisters with a music festival on Sunday afternoon. She is lining up quite a few musicians from the Austin area to donate their time for this benefit and is quite excited about possibly making this an annual event. As soon as I have the lineup of musicians, I will send it out.
