Latest Updates: A new release of my Filfre interactive fiction interpreter is up, along with a written piece connecting AI research with the age-old dream of the homunculus.

Welcome to my little corner of the World Wide Web.  Here you will find various materials that I thought -- perhaps optimisically -- may be of interest to people other than myself.  Much relates to interactive fiction, a text-based form of computer storytelling with a colorful history and, I devoutly hope, a bright future.  If you have never heard of IF, but think you might be interested, please take a look at my Internet-based "book" on the subject.  I wrote it for people just like you.  Also be sure to check out SPAG magazine, the online quarterly journal of IF of which I am the current editor, and Filfre, my interpreter for playing IF works published in the Z-Code and Glulx formats on Windows-based computers.
