Gary Clinton MONTAGUE

Gary Clinton MONTAGUE (Service # RA68048407), a Vietnam Veteran, enlisted in the United States Regular Army on 9 June 1968 and was Honorably discharged 21 June 1971 with the rank of Specialist 5th Class (E-5). Enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard in June 1976 until retirement in Sept 1993 with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7).
Upon completion of basic training (boot camp) at Fort Knox, KY (15 Jun - 15 Aug 1968) was sent to Technical School at Fort Monmouth, NJ to become a Weapon Support Radar Repairman (26B30). Graduated 20 May 1969.
Aug 1969 - 28 July 1970 assigned to 125th Aviation Co.(Air Traffic Control), Bein Hoa Army Base, Vietnam. Also performed Mail Clerk duties for the 125th Aviation Co.
12 Sept 1970 - 18 June 1971 assigned to the 4th (1st) Armored Division, HHD, 144th (141st) Signal Bn, Goeppingen, Germany.
Discharged at Fort Dix, NJ on 21 Jun 1971.
