We left San Angelo and drove to Eden, Brady, Llano, Buchanan Dam, back to Llano for BBQ at Cooper's, then on to Fredericksburg, Mason, Menard, Christoval and back to San Angelo. Not bad of a Day Trip (360mi.)

This was a special place between Brady and Llano. The picture doesn't do it justice. This photo is made up of 4 pictures.

Beware, when you click on it, it will expand to a W-I-D-E picture.

The flowers were so pretty, Mona, Carolyn's mother, just had to have an up-close and personal experience.

At many places on our trip we were able to see a plethora of different types of wild flowers...blue, red, pink, white, and , of course, yellow.

Here's Carolyn patiently waiting in our motorized carraige while I do my photography thing.

At one of our stops I was able to photograph a "White" blue bonnet. I'd never seen one before.

At some places the blue bonnets were everywhere., but we did go for several miles at a time without seeing anything as beautiful as this.

Here is a group of white flowers that was a very noticable change from the countryside we had been seeing.

Here's Carollyn's father, Harold, as he is returning from picking some of the flowers.

Never hurts to finish off with a little wine...er, ah, wine cup flowers, that is.
