Roberta Baker Gibbs (1906-1986), with husband Charles Russel Gibbs, Jr. (1908-1984), place, year.

 

Cecil Baker (1840-1864)

Shot in the heart in a charge on Nancis Shop in Charles City County, Virginia on June 24, 1864. Commissioned first lieutenant of Company B, Caroline Light Dragoons, Ninth Virginia Cavalry, under Colonel Richard L.T. Beale. His brother Eugene Baker found and buried his stripped body near the enemy lines. His dress uniform is currently displayed (1955) in the Confederate Museum in Richmond.
