 Cano, Ortiz, Vela and Manrique (Trevino) Generations

This research started with my own interest in learning more about my family history. Enclosed are the histories of those families and a listing of their known descendants. This document is dedicated to Julie, Vanessa and Mark. I hope that in time, they will gain some interest of their past so that they can now, understand, appreciate it so that they can learn to shape the future.

This branch of the Cano's hail from Mexico and South Texas, but spread across the U.S. with the newer generations.  Included in this site is my maternal side as well as my wife's paternal and maternal families (Vela / Manrique).
