As required by my contract of employment, I hereby give you two weeks notice of my intention to leave my position as Enterprise Linux Technician.

I understand that my notice period is two weeks, but for personal reasons I would like to leave earlier. Therefore I request that you waive the notice period and relieve me of my duties as soon as possible under the circumstances.
