Most all of the courthouses I've visited has a Veterans Memorial. This doughboy is on the corner of the lot.
They say every small town in Texas has a Dairy Queen and so far I'd have to say it's true. (In fact, when giving directions to the house I grew up, the Dairy Queen in Hondo was a point of reference.) I think we actually stopped at this one to get more diet coke and a Heath Blizzard. I'm not big on sweets, but with all the calcium ice cream is actually good for you.
