The 2006 storm season has been a dissapointing one over the Southern Plains, with relatively few tornadic supercells over the plains of Oklahoma, Kansas, and west Texas. John Holsenbeck and I were lucky enough to observe one of the few tornadic storms to affect west Texas in 2006 on May 5th.
