oldest teak plantations, known as Canollys Plot. Thereafter visit the village where
earthern pots/vessels are made, and Teak Museum where one could learn more on the
growth of teak at various stages. Leave for Adyanpara approx. 14 kms. from Nilambur. This journey is done by Jeep and still a walk of about 10 mnts. involved to reach the Country Hut in the Plantation. (do not expect luxury here.Only a shelter to live-in. No electricity/ telephone facility. Dinner and overnight |
| 4th | Meenmutty | After breakfast, leave on a trekking trip for Meenmutty Water Falls,
enroute you will cover Plantations, Forest areas, river/streams involving hill climbing
and plenty of walk through the forests. Lunch shall be supplied enroute at convenient spot.
The spots covered are Mayinpalli, Kidakkakallu, Vettilakolli, Manhappara, Theettakotta
reaching Meenmutty by 5 pm with stops in between for enjoying nature as also for
tea/lunch/tea etc. We spend the night at Meenmutty near waterfall in tents. Dinner prepared & served here. (Be prepared to spend the night in the forest no other shelter available). |
