This is a picture of the beautiful hand quilted king size bed spread with two matching pillow shams that was made by 14 members of the Texas German Society - Heart of Texas Chapter during February and March 2001.

It was donated for a special raffle event during the Convention and raised a total of US$ 1360.00 of which the chapter donated US$ 500.00 each to the Whitney and Lorena High School German teachers for materials needed in their classes and US$ 50.00 to the Texas Historical Society.
